Vivo Musique Internationale is a Montreal, Quebec, Canada based music company founded in 2006 by Glenda Rush (Glenda Marlene Ruch). The company encompasses three main areas of business predominantly in music and a variety of partners in general public relations and marketing: VivoPR Media Relations Agency, VIVO MUSIQUE Record Label, and Artist Management.  Vivo Musique takes a creative and personalized approach towards achieving individual and/or company objectives. In music, this is often with a focus on jazz, international, world music and Latin-tropical genres of music and unique artists, distinct companies and diverse projects - some already established with international profile and activities, and others who are so far undiscovered gems.

VivoPR: Media Relations Agency This is mainly in the areas of music and entertainment and in other industries such as law, science, and education. Glenda Rush is a publicist who has worked on national PR campaigns with companies such as Naxos of Canada Ltd., Spectra Musique, Effendi Records, Laborie Jazz, Universal Music Canada/Verve Music Group, Cellfield Canada and Bergman & Associates Law Firm as examples, and also with individual artists such as Christine Jensen & Ingrid Jensen, François Bourassa, Ivan Mazuze, Nanette Workman, Susie Arioli, Candido Camero, Robi Botos, Curtis Nowosad, Steve Kirby, Ellen Doty, Dr. Chris Boukaram among others. Vivo Musique Internationale focuses on individuality and unique aspects of the project for an outside of the box approach to media relations. We have an extensive contact list that includes multi-lingual and multi-cultural media, individuals and companies.

VIVO MUSIQUE  Record Label-Management: Founded in 2013 and dedicated to presenting Canadian-international artists and their original works of music. In November 2013, Vivo Musique launched the album Enamorarse en la playa by the Latin music orchestra, Rafael & Energía Dominicana, led by Rafael, a Montreal based, Dominican Republic born Latin music singer, songwriter and bandleader. In May 2017, the album was launched globally on the renowned and historic world music label, ARC Music Ltd. in the UK. The album so far has received high critical acclaim that include a 4 x star reviews in SONGLINES Magazine UK, and in Le Journal de Montréal. In 2015, Rafael received the first ever award for “Merengue of the Year” from Latin Awards Canada for his composition “Tirando duro”.

ABOUT Glenda Rush: (Legal name: Glenda Marlene Ruch) is the founder and principal of Vivo Musique Internationale. She is a native Montrealer whose background includes working at Canadian record companies in Toronto for over 12 years. This includes PolyGram Records of Canada in the Classics & Jazz division, Warner Music Canada in International Marketing, and Universal Music Canada/Verve Music Group, where she was a National Jazz Publicist with an additional  focus on developing Latin music and world music product in Canada. Glenda founded Vivo Musique Internationale based on a natural evolution of her independent activities working with Canadian- Latin music artists and jazz repertoire projects in bookings, production, media relations, artist development and promotion. In 2016 she received the award for “Manager of the Year” from the Latin Awards Canada, in recognition for her work with Rafael & Energía Dominicana. She got her start in the music and entertainment industry as a musician/bass player and theatre student/actress in Montreal. She has a B.A. Honours from the Theatre Department, York University, Toronto, Ontario and an Attestation de spécialisation professionnelle/Business Marketing, Ministère de l’éducation du loisir et du sport, Montreal, Quebec. Since 2007, Glenda continues to lead seminars in music promotion & marketing at the Audio Recording Technology program of Vanier College-CEGEP in Montreal. She is a member of ACTRA and SOCAN in Canada.
